JIM FUNG, Executive Producer
Jim Fung is a seasoned performing arts presenter and producer with extensive management, fundraising and marketing experience in multidisciplinary fields. As founder of Captivate Artists and former executive director of Dimension Performing Arts, Jim has presented over 45 international productions in seven cities reaching over 100,000 audience. His presentations have included some of the biggest names in performing arts - The Vienna Boys Choir, pianists Valentina Lisitsa, Van Cliburn winner Nobuyuki Tsujii and Amy Fisher Career Grant recipient Conrad Tao, The Second City comedy company, singer Dionne Warwick, U-Theatre and the China National Acrobatic Troupe among many others. The footprints of his presentations stretch from the San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California to Carnegie Hall and the National Theatre in Taiwan.
With a proven track record in engaging multi-ethnic communities and expanding audience base to next-generation patrons, Jim has been a strong advocate of arts education, having produced numerous in-school education programs and masterclasses. His company provides marketing and artistic planning services to multiple non-profit organizations, including the Peninsula Symphony of Northern California.
