Julio Ferrari

Baritone

Julio Ferrari, lyric baritone and native San Franciscan, studied voice at San Diego State University and San Francisco State University. With over 15 years of experience as a cantor, section leader, and soloist in churches across California—performing works such as Fauré’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah—Julio has also appeared with various Bay Area opera companies. Recent operatic roles include Germont in La Traviata, Escamillo in Carmen, and the title role in Don Giovanni. Outside of music, Julio works in Human Resources and enjoys hiking, solving The New York Times Crossword, imbibing the occasional craft cocktail, and baking sourdough bread.
