Pedro Ledesma

Tenor Pedro Ledesma received his formal music education at the National Conservatory in Mexico City, under Maestro Enrique Jaso. He continued his vocal study in the School of Arts in Philadelphia, under Professor Paul Adkins. Starting late at age 21, he cherishes every opportunity to sing and play music. Mr. Ledesma has sung the roles of Don Jose in Carmen with West Bay Opera, Alfredo in La Traviata, and Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore. Beside opera, Mr. Ledesma has made recordings of Mexican Boleros with The Guitar Trio. He is also a traditional mariachi performer. He has performed at the Mexican Heritage Theatre in San Jose. Mozart’s Requiem is also in his repertoire, performed in San Jose State University with the Misa Crioilla Camerata Singers of Salinas.
Currently, he is a member of Bach-Millennium Music, under the tutelage of Milena Georgieva Bach, an active opera soprano and teacher, founder and artistic director of Bach-Millennium Music.
